💐 How to Keep Your Bouquet Fresh & Happy
A little love goes a long way. Here’s how to make your flowers last longer and look their best:
1. ✂️ Give Them a Fresh Cut
Snip the stems at a 45° angle before putting them in water. This helps them drink better. About half an inch is perfect.
2. 💧 Clean Vase, Cool Water
Use a clean vase and fill it with cool water. If you have flower food, mix it in—it helps keep the water fresh and the flowers hydrated.
3. 🌿 Remove Any Leaves Below the Water
Leaves sitting in water = bacteria = shorter vase life. Remove anything that would fall below the water line.
4. ❄️ Keep Them Cool
Avoid direct sunlight, heaters, and cold drafts. Flowers love a cozy, shaded spot—like a chill corner of your home.
5. 🚫 Keep Fruit Far Away
Fruits like bananas and apples release natural gases that make flowers wilt faster. Give your bouquet its own space.
6. 🔁 Refresh Every Few Days
Change the water and re-trim the stems every 2–3 days. A quick refresh goes a long way!
